We take a look at the numbers recorded by the Chelsea players that have featured less this season. Even with just a handful of featuring, their numbers are still impressive. Here, we look at the goal contributions of these players irrespective of their positions.

13. Christian Pulisic:
Captain America despite having a brilliant and impressive start to the season, saw his brilliant season curtailed by a long lasting injury that saw him recover and get injured again. Since returning fully, his pace has been slow but not bad.
Appearance: 19
Goals: 3
Assists: 0
14. Timo Werner:
Turbo Timo! This has arguably been his best season since joining Chelsea. At some point this season, Timo also had to succumb to the quick grasping hands of injuring that has been on rampage at Chelsea this season.
Appearance: 19
Goals: 5
Assists: 1
15. Ruben Loftus-Cheek:
The big England guy has had a good game every time he is called up. Cheek has appeared lesser than he would like but has been impressive. Presently, Ruben Loftus-Cheek has a minor injury that is keeping him out of Chelsea training for the mean time.
Appearance: 19
Goals: 0
Assists: 2
16. Ben Chilwell:
Ben’s wonderfully going season has been put to a stop by a knee injury. According to reports, he is set to be sidelined for the rest of the season after undergoing a successful knee operation. Before his injury, Ben enjoyed a lot of praise across Chelsea, from the coach to the fans.
Appearances: 12
Goals: 3
Assists: 1
17. Trevoh Chalobah:
A premier league debut season can arguably go better for any central defender than it has for Chalobah. He marked his debut with a long range, fine strike goal. His appearances has been limited of late though due to the competitiveness in the central defenders role at Chelsea.
Appearances: 20
Goals: 3
Assists: 0
18. Saul Niguez:
The Spaniard has not really lived up to expectations since joining Chelsea on loan from Atletico Madrid, on the deadline day of the Summer transfer window. Some Chelsea fans even describe him as a complete failure and some say he is an unneeded addition. Saul, though didn’t kick of well but has improved with every game that passes and in a particular game against Tottenham Hotspurs, attracted special praises. He is yet to register a goal or an assist though.
Appearances: 14
Assists: 0
Goals: 0
19. Cesar Azpilicueta:
The very skipper of Chelsea! This is another 30+ defender that has refused to show aging signs but rather, seem to get better at what they do. Apzi as usual, has been quiet this season but chipped in some brilliant perfomances for Chelsea whether as a CB or RB. He has even had crucial assists for some game changing goals this season.
Appearances: 29
Goals: 0
Assists: 2
20. Malang Sarr:
Sarr’s approach towards tackling and shielding the ball was tagged reckless and too aggressive around the beginning of this season. But just as if these comments get to him, he has improved with every match he has played so far.
Appearances: 11
Goals: 0
Assists: 0
